Biography

Tracy Provo Knight is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee and a graduate of Austin Peay State University. She received her first postgraduate degree in 1996 when she was awarded an M.B.A. in Management, with an emphasis in Human Resources and Employment Law, from Middle Tennessee State University. She attended law school at Lincoln Memorial University, where she served as a Law Review contributor. As a graduate student, she served as an intern with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and later served as a legislative performance auditor for the State of Tennessee. For over twenty years, she served as an adjunct faculty member in Middle Tennessee State University's College of Business, teaching Human Resource Management, Employment Law, Principles of Management, Leadership Theories and Conflict Resolution. 

 Ms. Knight practices in the firm's litigation group and her practice focuses in the areas of civil litigation in State and Federal courts, to include labor and employment law, EEO, FLSA, human resources, civil rights, risk management, Fair Housing, insurance defense, and domestic relations. Ms. Knight is licensed to practice law before all Tennessee state and appellate courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She is listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator for family law.

Ms. Knight is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association for Women, Montgomery County Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association, where she has served as a Continuing Legal Education presenter and contributor. She is active in the Clarksville, Montgomery County community, serving as a vice chairperson of the Clarksville Montgomery County Public Library, chairperson of the Madison Street United Methodist Church Pastor Parish Relations Committee, former member of the Madison Street United Methodist Church Board of Trustees, Customs House Museum Guild, Clarksville Academy Association, and Clarksville Board of Zoning Appeals.
